Sardines are most commonly found around the Mediterranean, North Sea, North-Atlantic and the Black Sea. Sardines swim in large schools. Sardine has many applications. It can be used for human consumption as a canned, smoked, dried or salted fish. Sardine can also be used to extract the fish oil and for many chemical processes.
